How to wash your jeans properly
The most frequently worn item in your wardrobe requires slightly more attention than you may think.
Empty the pockets of your jeans. To keep abrasion to a minimum and prevent their colors from fading, turn them inside out.
Set your washing machines on gentle mode. Put your jeans into the washer when it's
ready. "Avoid overloading your washer because doing so can cause damage to your clothes and washing machine, not to mention your jeans won't be cleaned properly,"
Once the machine cycle is completed, hang them at the waist with clippers to dry. "Do not hang your jeans in the direct sunlight," says Wong. Proper drying time takes approximately one to two days depending on the weather.
